While it'd be less historically accurate (kind of), an MP40 mag would be better. The Thompson mag catch point is in the wrong place.
You could always argue it's been fitted with the 9mm conversion kit. ;)

a battery for each mag will be a little on the dear side but once your kitted out it will be fine and probably mean no flat battery end of play isues as with 3 or 4 mags all with lipo's it would be good for a weekend without battery problems.

I lov the idea of the batt in the mag, I think its a wicked idea, lets see how it works before condeming it. i was told it had an internal hopper which sucked the fatest balls, but this is a very exciting consept from a manafacturer :good: is it blow back?

What would be the point of blowback on a gun with a completely internal bolt and no attached handle?

By the looks of the photos it'll be a straight feed from the mag' hopefully.

Looking at the battery location, it should make for some very frantic reloading moments! (Unless someone buys lots of batteries to go in lots of mags!).

I'd be concerned about exposed power terminals.

It would be nice to see the inside of one to see if a lypo could be squeezed in the back above the grip.

It would be a right old game to get it in and out?

Only once
Chop the back off :good:
Or leave it in there and fit a small charging socket.

On the French WW2 airsoft forum one of the members successfully converted his Grease Gun to place the batterij in the handgrip.

You can find the pictures on his gallery: http://www.ww2airsoft.fr/phpBB2/album_p ... SC&start=0

Just scroll a bit down.

Here is the thread on the forum where he explains (a bit) what he has done, in French: http://www.ww2airsoft.fr/phpBB2/viewtop ... 071#123071

The google translator is only a bit helpfull ;)

The CobraIII game last september had around 125 players 8) But I guess that's slighly offtopic here.

Time to subscribe then ;) Great forum, altough it's French (I am using a translator too to read the most of it).

He is using a LiPo battery as you can see at the ballancer-connector.

Hmm, I can only attach 3 pictures in a post :?:
